PROBLEM WITH SEARCH ROUTINE

Hi guys. I know that the CP assistance is dead but I have a problem that I hope some expert person of good will can help me.
My problem is this: I do a search on the db and I have the results. How can I do a new research on the results obtained before?
Example: I search for apple smartphones. The result is everything in the DB with the name Apple. But if, after finding what I was looking for, I wanted to look for the products between the minimum price 200 and the maximum price 500 how can I do?
How can I change the code on the prodlist.com file?
I thank everyone and above all who will be able to give me some help because I am firm in the construction of my site.
Please help me?

    Hi,

    I'm assuming you were referring to prodlist.asp, anyway you don't need to change anything there just use the /scripts/prodSearch.asp as that allows all the options you want.
    Keywords = Apple smartphone
    search type = all keywords
    min price -> max price
    Category
    Brand
    Manufacturer

    Hi,

    If you feel at ease with classic ASP programming you could look at some examples where the keyword for your search would be "Filter result". You can build a test page using filters on results and then modify the script page as mentionned by RPMnet above.
